Tutorial - How to Move the Bust Point of the Lamina

Another quick tutorial today on how to move the bust point of the Lamina.

Step 1.) Indicate on the pattern how much you need to move the bust point and mark the point on the pattern piece.

Step 2.) Next, you’ll want to trace the dart curves from the original to their new spot. You can do this by using tracing paper or printing out another copy of the pattern piece and cutting out the dart area. Line up the corners of the darts as best you can.

Step 3.) You may need to redraw the wireline (extend slighly or shorten slightly) to match your new dart.

****A quick reminder. The large vertical dart on the Lamina cup is designed to end about 1” ABOVE the bust point. Shortening this so it matches WILL result in a pointy boobs!****
